Vittorio Negri was born on 1978 born in the city of castellammare di stabia (naples), italy.
Chef vittorio started as an apprentice cook at the age of 17, in a small hotel. He got a diploma in catering and hotel management, and later he got specialization in bakery and Neapolitan pizza in the city of the pizza "Naples".
He had summer jobs as commis than He went on to learn the traditional Italian cuisine at restaurant La Taverna , in tuscany. Than he was employed in aurora restaurant one of the most important restaurants in Capri island as chef de partie.
Chef Vittorio later joined rosso pomodoro London the famous Italian chain of Neapolitan restaurant.
His career flourished and he was consequently employed as a Sous Chef at Flavours restaurant, London, but over time, a craving for travel consumed him and In 2008, his travel to middle east at La Riviera restaurant in Abu dhabi, and he took the title of Chef de cuisine. Since then, The Chef, as he is better known, has trained many young apprentices. He was also teaching participants from around the world the secrets of the Italian cuisine.
Now he move to samui at rice restaurant and says:
'It is essential, in this fast-paced environment, to be surrounded by a professional, dedicated team I believe”. 'I am fortunate here to be surrounded by people who share a genuine love of the kitchen.'
There are 15 people in the kitchen they prepare meals for thousands guests every month.In every dish we try to transfer all the passion and true Italian taste with deeply respect of the Italian tradition and culture.
Handmade pasta,spaghetti alle vongole,wood oven pizza are only a small part of Vittorio's signature recipes.
Chef Vittorio's creativity and organizational skills have brought him recognition. He has thrilled the palates of sheiks, politics and famous personalities from around the world.
